Dr. Aditya Rajagopal is a Co-founder and CEO of Esperto Medical. He is also a founder and a member of the board of directors at ChromaCode, a multiplexed diagnostics company that uses signal compression to lower costs, increase capacity, and standardize measurement with existing PCR instrumentation. Previously, he was a researcher at Google[x], where he worked on novel medical imaging methods. He has expertise in thermal engineering, digital signal processing, nano-scale electronics, low-power circuit design for implantable sensors, DNA sequencing structures and techniques, and PCR devices and applications.

Additionally, Dr. Rajagopal is part-time faculty in the Electrical Engineering Department at Caltech, and in Biomedical Engineering at USC. He received his BS, MS, and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Caltech.

Dr. Alaina Brinley Rajagopal is a Co-Founder and CMO of Esperto Medical. She is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with a PhD in public health, virology, and space life sciences. She also has certificates in international medicine, aerospace medicine, and tropical & travel medicine. Her research has been diverse, including space life sciences, virology, public health, aerospace medicine, medical education, paleontology, and more. Additionally, Dr. Rajagopal is part-time faculty in the Electrical Engineering Department at Caltech and practices emergency medicine in Southern California.

Dr. Rajagopal obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Kalamazoo College and her MD and PhD from The University of Texas Medical Branch. She completed emergency medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Yaser S. Abu-Mostafa is a Co-founder of Esperto Medical. He is Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the California Institute of Technology, and Chairman of Machine Learning Consultants LLC. His main field of expertise is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). He is the author of Amazon's ML bestseller "Learning from Data". His ML online course (MOOC) has attracted more than 7 million views.

Dr. Abu-Mostafa has served on the Scientific Advisory Board and as a technical consultant on ML for several start-up and established companies, including Citibank for 9 years. He has numerous technical publications including 3 articles in Scientific American, as well as keynote lectures at various international conferences.

Lynne R. Rollins has over 40 years' experience in the healthcare industry in the areas of finance and business development.

Currently Ms. Rollins is the CFO for numerous start-up pharmaceutical, medical device, and agricultural companies. Prior to that, she was with Baxter Healthcare Corporation for 19 years. Her positions there included Vice President of Business Development for the Cardiopulmonary Business, Vice President of Finance for the Cardiopulmonary Business (Bentley Division) and numerous finance positions within the Hospital Products Group of the Corporation. Ms. Rollins received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University and her MBA from Pepperdine University.

Raymond Jimenez is the Chief Technology Officer for Esperto Medical, where he specializes in rapid iteration and technology development. Before Esperto, Raymond led several efforts at SpaceX (where he operated Dragon missions to the International Space Station, commanded a satellite test fleet, and redesigned Falcon & Dragon navigation sensors), Boeing (where he designed power supplies for geostationary communications satellites), and Phase Four (where he led electronics development for the company's first flight-ready plasma thrusters).

Mr. Jimenez specializes in full-stack electrical engineering, spanning system design through firmware devlopment and product test. By leveraging the ever-marching trend of miniaturization in consumer and industrial electronics, he aims to bring ever more efficient and compact designs to previously untapped fields.

Raymond Jimenez received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Caltech.

Dr. Jeff Stoll is the Chief Product Officer at Esperto. He brings 20+ years of senior leadership experience in medical device product management, clinical trials management, regulatory affairs, and R&D. He has led the successful development, launch, and commercialization of multiple award winning products in medical ultrasound, diagnostics, and rehabilitation. Before joining Esperto he led global product marketing for premium ultrasound products at Siemens Healthineers, global product management at Ekso Bionics, innovations at Hound Labs, and market development and access at NephroSant. Jeff has a B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and a Ph.D. from Boston University focusing on robotics and controls in surgery.

Brett Brown brings over 20 years of experience in finance, corporate management, and human resources, with a track record across diverse industries and company stages. He is passionate about helping companies with transformative technologies scale their teams strategically. At Luxtera—a pioneer in optical and electronic integration—he played a key role in guiding the company from early R&D through to its initial revenue phase. Most recently, as VP of Finance at ChromaCode, Brett led finance and HR over a seven-year span, helping grow the company from an early R&D concept to over $30 million in annual revenue.

Elizabeth Gress is Head of Clinical Operations at Esperto Medical. She comes to Esperto from a 15-year career running medical device innovation and entrepreneurship programs at UC San Francisco, where she advised and supported startups and faculty innovators with their FDA interactions, clinical trials, business planning, grant writing, and finance and operations. At UCSF she served as the founding Program Director of the FDA-sponsored UCSF Pediatric Device Consortium and the Department of Surgery’s Surgical Innovations initiative, which she grew from unfunded concepts into fully staffed programs with a combined operating budget of $3 million/year. Ms. Gress is a co-founder of next-generation renal replacement startup Silicon Kidney and holds an MPA from UC Berkeley and a BA from Williams College.

Dr. William Dempsey is the Head of Research at Esperto Medical. William obtained his BS and MS from Johns Hopkins University in Biomedical Engineering, where he modeled cancer-relevant biochemical reaction systems in silico. Subsequently, he obtained his PhD in Bioengineering at Caltech, developing a set of nanoparticle and non-invasive transgenic-based imaging tools to tackle fundamental questions in early development and wound repair in vivo. After refining his skills in nonlinear imaging at Caltech, Dr. Dempsey examined novel fluorescence and harmonic imaging phenomena at ETH Zürich in Switzerland, uncovered foundational structural correlates in the brain during memory formation at the University of Southern California, and returned to Caltech to track early stage mammalian development with high spatiotemporal resolution. Before joining Esperto Medical, Dr. Dempsey developed assays and analytical methods for spatial multi-omic sequencing applications at Singular Genomics.

Virginia Lin is a mechanical engineer with over 10 years of experience developing medical devices across ophthalmology, cardiovascular, orthopedic, and patient monitoring. She has guided multiple products from early concept through clinical trials and is listed on several patents. Before joining a VC-backed ophthalmology startup as an early R&D team member, Virginia held engineering roles at Edwards Lifesciences and OrthAlign, where she worked on wearable sensors and orthopedic navigation tools. At Edwards, she contributed to the Clearsight system, helping refine its volume clamping technology and gaining a strong foundation in continuous blood pressure monitoring—a challenge she’s now revisiting with renewed excitement. She earned her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech and focuses on building practical, hands-on solutions.

Dr. Daniel Cellucci is a Senior Electrical Engineer for Esperto Medical, where he specializes in the design of the sensing and data collection pipeline. Prior to joining Esperto, Dr. Cellucci was an Aerospace Technologist at NASA Ames Research Center, focusing on projects involving distributed sensing and autonomous decision making in both spaceflight and aeronautics. There, he developed and led the demonstration concept for the Distributed Spacecraft Autonomy project and worked with the Convergent Aeronautics Systems' program to implement a distributed pressure sensing platform for characterizing the behavior of aeroelastic wings made from discrete cellular solids. After leaving NASA, he co-founded an NSF-funded startup, Metavoxel, that sought to commercialize the discrete cellular solids technology. Daniel received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2019, and his B.S. in Physics from the University of Georgia in 2012.

Dr. Anna Nadtochiy is an Algorithm Engineer II at Esperto Medical. She received her BS and MS in Biophysics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, exploring the use of semiconductor membranes for nanoparticle filtering and DNA translocation control. Anna then pursued her Ph.D. in Computational Biology at the University of Southern California, where she integrated biology, software engineering, and artificial intelligence to advance bioimage analysis. Her doctoral research focused on analyzing extensive four-dimensional imaging datasets using modalities like Confocal, Light-Sheet, and Light-Field Microscopy to investigate synaptic changes and neural activity at the single-cell level. At Esperto, Anna applies her expertise to develop computational pipelines, enhancing the analysis and interpretation of complex imaging data.

He serves on the board of directors for AliveCor, a leading innovator in EKG technology and artificial intelligence and is a board member of HealthCorps, a non-profit which promotes health and wellness for our nation’s youth. He is a recent board member of the Consumer Technology Association’s Health and Fitness Technology Division and the American Heart Association.

Previously, as president and CEO of Omron Healthcare, Mr. Kellogg led the company’s presence across the U.S., Canada and Latin America and guided the business to new levels of growth and recognition as America’s number one doctor and pharmacist recommended blood pressure monitor brand. Ranndy spearheaded Omron’s Going for Zero mission to eliminate heart attack and stroke and reinvented the company through the introduction of groundbreaking medical technologies and partnerships to bridge health gaps.

Prior to OMRON, Ranndy held executive positions in marketing at Baxter International and CR Bard where he led global teams in driving growth, expansion and innovation. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
